A slice of Lesley's life

Short view ; long view

Today has been all over the place and despite a relaxing sit in my garden chair reading I am exhausted and drained and ready to collapse into bed.

An early morning dog walk with Albi through Chiswick House, including some really quite impressive recall training from the beast, helped get me onto a more even keel than when I woke. It is entirely possible I wouldn't be as sane as I am without Albi and on days like this I'm not even sure how sane that is.

Some ups and downs with J but overall we'd have to give the day an up rating. Especially as it included some ball games and frisbee in the garden when Anna came home from school.

One very lovely thing is that I am sitting in my lovely swing chair in the garden in the evening sun and one of our neighbours is playing some really beautiful guitar. When I was a kid one of our neighbours played the oboe and I used to love hearing it when I was out in the garden.
