A lovely and very old Doulton (I'm SUCH a name dropper) Ink Bottle Tess spotted at the weekend lying lost and lonely on the sands. The sides are rough from the sea, the neck is still smooth and cold. It's very stroke-able. Did it enable words of wisdom or worry?
