Emu Park
It was a windy night and remained windy today. Never really warmed up muchand been showers this afternoon. The sun tried it's best but didn't last long.
Up early and left after breakfast, heading west. It's not been much of a day for sightseeing but I've made the most of it by photographing wild birds, like the wrens and parrots. First stop was at Shannon national park for a look, then a walk about in Northcliffe. Onwards again and to Pemberton and climbing the Gloucester tree, too scary!! Made it to Margaret River for lunch, Brian managed a haircut too and finally stopped in Bunbury for the night.
The birds have been great today and then I spotted some huge birds in the distance. We stopped in the field next to them fir a look and turned out to be emus :) I don't really like them much, too nosy and big beaks to peck you but these were fine behind the fence. Looked like they were farmed birds, fields full of them. Taken along tge road west of Pemberton.
