Calm before the Spartan Storm

This was the view from the bus stop first thing, a lovely tranquil morning in our hills.

The evening was somewhat less peaceful as myself and a couple of neighbour's went to meet the organisers of this year's Spartan Race to address our community's concerns. Last year was so horrendous many of us were forced into exile.

Sadly this year they are planning two days of 12+ hours of music/tannoy announcements starting at 7.30am Saturday and 6.30am on Sunday - clearly we are going to be losing our precious weekends again this year.
