Vision off

And now that I am back to reading so much, I've noticed that my eyesight is deteriorating. I'm OK reading a book during the day when there's plenty of light but in the evenings I rely on my glasses now. my last trip downstairs each day seems to be to go and fetch them from my satchel. 

And even in the daytime, if the font's not a reasonable size, so something small like the ingredients on the back of a food packet, I've have to resort to asking for assistance. I need to get better at carrying my glasses with me, I guess. 

I have to say I find it odd accepting this change, that my eyesight's getting worse and won't get any better. The kids and the Minx maintain my hearing's going, too, but I can still hear music all right, so I'm not worrying so much about that!
