Tiny Tuesday - Bromeliad

I received a delightful thank you gift today - a gorgeous red Bromeliad.

After four years as Membership Secretary for SeniorNet, I have resigned. With surgery expected right at the busiest time of subscription renewal in September and October, I thought it would be  better for them if they could have someone new trained in the task before that busy time starts.

It has all worked out well and today I was gifted with  the Bromeliad as a thank you. It was a lovely bright spot in a miserable wet and cold day which I have spent trying and failing to catch up with things .

I wasn't sure whether the flower would suitable for a macro - but it is larger than life size and taken with the macro lens, so guess it will do.
