Southern Alps

Today has been such a contrast from yesterday's beautiful clear sunny day. We've had cloud and a cold wind most of today - that's until 5 pm tonight when the cloud started to disappear and the sun was starting to set. I went down to Lake Tekapo and took this photo. It's such a beautiful landscape.

Today is Farmerboy's birthday, so after a rather long lie-in we went out for lunch and then a walk around the lake. It's amazing how many tourists stop by the lake and take photos - and selfies! I love people watching.

It was great to catch up with TeeJay this afternoon. She has come down for the night in her camper van, and called in for a coffee. It's fantastic to be able to keep in touch via blip.
