Little birds recovery

I've rescued a little bird. Not sure if its fell out of its nest, been thrown out of its nest or if its flewn into the window. One thing is for certain i was not leaving it for the cats to find and eat.

I lay it in the garage and kept an eye on it, it even began to open its mouth for me to put food in it but i managed to get a little water into it in small quantities. It began to chirp, probably for its mammy, so when darkness came I gave it one last drink and put the lid over the shoebox and hope it will go to sleep.

Letting david dog out later revealed all was quiet from the garage. A good night sleep may help in this little birds recovery.
