Harlequins on Turtle Island

Gorgeous day for a row… no seal pups on the rocks this morning, but there were cormorants (pelagic i think) and harlequins on Turtle island, a small protected reserve north of us.       Pretty sure they are young harlequin ducks….never see these in our bay or beach.   I got a bit close I guess and scared them into moving off the rocks.. ( could be this week’s WBC..”movement”!) 
Happy to be outdoors and not hearing too much about the Republican convention going on right now…
