The Fog Pulls Away

We were on the hill at the back edge of Cayucos late this morning and this is what we could see (sorry for the power pole, but I didn't put it there). The sun was shining and the thick morning mist was pulling away.

It was beautiful, but once the air warmed the fog rolled in again. We talked to a local later who told us that June and July are usually like this, but most of the other months are very beautiful. We like the view and we like the misty fog so either is okay with us.

We looked at several properties today; one was built in 1942 and one has just been built and the builder was putting some finishing touches on it and invited us in to see the place -- it was quite impressive and quite expensive.

This has been a fun interesting vacation day. We ate Italian dinner in Morro Bay which is the city just to the south of Cayucos.
