“The blood is the life!” ― Bram Stoker. Dracula
This evening we visited Slains Castle, the cliff-top ruin that inspired Bram Stoker to write the novel Dracula, whilst on his holidays in nearby Cruden Bay.
We think that we might have caught a glance of the evil Count lurking around in the courtyard of the castle and feel rather lucky to have returned home safely. Now, where did I put that garlic and spare crucifix?
Meanwhile, we have heard from the Talpids who are holidaying on a farm in the Netherlands - see the "extra". You know that a boy is truly obsessed with football when he helps round up the cows clad in his Aberdeen Football Club strip!
