Cutbacks

It's been many weeks since this hedge was cut back enough to expose the gate to the playing fields. I know the council is cutting back, although clearly not in this case, but would it really take so long and cost so very much to chop at some branches? The lazy so-and-so's who cut the grass and paint the lines should be given a pair of shears and told to get to it if they can't use their own initiative. Every time I'm there, usually for at least an hour with the dogs, I see them sitting in their vans, doing nothing. It's a rarity to see them out of their vans, in fact. They need a kick up the backside - and some shears.
