Lady Bridge, river Coquet

I woke at 2.50am and didn't get back to sleep.

Hopefully that won't happen tonight as I had a very brisk walk of 5 miles to and from Katy's house, following the river. I hoped to see the resident otters but they didn't appear for me. A heavy shower did though and my bottom half was drookit by the time I got there,

I was on a mission to deliver some special cable she'll need when she visits her daughter Rose in NZ next week. I also took a few $ we had left over.

Our road trip south begins tomorrow. Mr C's new licence arrived. It is valid for 3 years till he is 76. All set to go when we get back!
