Memories of yellow flowers

These should really have been sunflowers, but I couldn’t find any, so these beautiful lilies in a friend’s garden will do.

Five years ago today #2 daughter was married in London and it was the most wonderful day. A glorious summer day, London was the theme and yellow was the colour. Although we helped financially and with some things, they organised and designed the whole event themselves. They were married in Islington Town Hall (a beautiful building), had the reception in the covered outside area of a local pub and of course the guests were ferried from place to place in a London bus (see extra). Everything was perfect and exactly as they had wanted it. People still say even now that it was one of the happiest and most enjoyable weddings they had ever been to. Certainly a day to remember. I wonder how much of it the two young flower girls remember (see two more extras).
 
Today the couple are in Amsterdam, spending the weekend on a canal houseboat. Happy Anniversary to you both and thanks for the memories.
