Up at sunrise to catch the first train to Rigi Kaltbad leaving Vitznau at 0630am. Still chilly and cloudy. From there a good hour walk to Rigi Kulm for a hearty breakfast and wonderful 360 degree view.

Walking to Klösterli, Kaltbad and back down to Vitznau in four hours in plain sunshine. Jumping into the lake mid afternoon when arriving back at the hotel.

As an extra picture are some impressions of today.

Hanging loose with a drink on the balcony and contemplating what it means having grown one year older today (again!).

Wonderful fish dinner outside during sunset to celebrate both the Swiss national day and "my" day. Peeked into the kitchen (blip) when we retreated to the terrace of our room to watch the firework shortly before 10pm.

Needed also to endure some apero flag spinning and alphorn music folklore tonight. Part of the game before seeing the alpine fires and enjoying the firework when it is completely dark.
