Skipton from Embsey Crag

We had a leisurely breakfast then as Rick was busy sorting out his cycling gear, the three of us went for a walk round the reservoir and then up Embsey Crag. We had great views over to Sharphaw where we went yesterday.

Thank you for your supportive comments about my foot. I took Paracetemol and Ibruprofen before setting out, and managed. It is easier to walk steep up and down than on the level for some reason. It wasn't far either.

In the afternoon we had a 50 minute drive over to Sabden in Lancs where we are staying with an old school and uni friend of mine, and his wife. We didn't talk politics - they mentioned their daughter was furious with them for voting to leave Europe. They think everything will be ok in 6 months and are confident with a Tory government. We just said "Boris" to that.
