Highland Wildlife Park

C went off to climb Ben Macdui with his grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins. A n I decided not to make D go as he'd done s big bike ride yesterday. So he had both of us to himself for the day and his choice of activity. So we went to the highland wildlife park. We had a lovely day - my favourite was the snow leopard, the wolf Cubs and the two polar bears playing with traffic cones in their pond. C had a fab time up the mountain and has come back with a very large lovely piece of Quartz.
I love this picture of D at the polar bear enclosure. He wanted his new arctic hare in the picture too so we can see how tall it is compared to the female polar bear.
