Football

Charlie went to a football summer camp today for the day. I wasn't sure how he would do being there for the whole day but it was with the football coach that did his b'day party who he really likes so thankfully he settled in very quickly and waved us off. I snapped this of the field before R & I left at 10am. C is the blur running, wearing an orange cap.

R promptly fell asleep in the car so I took the rare opportunity for a pre-holiday pedicure while she slept in the pushchair. We then had a leisurely lunch in the garden and R tried out her little bike.

A bit of present shopping in town and then we picked up C.

Meanwhile C had enjoyed a brilliant football, sun, running, games and fresh air filled day. He had scored 2 goals he told me and enjoyed describing his favourite games of the day. His little cheeks were v pink and he was clearly a bit worn out. Bless him, he had been the youngest footballer at only just 5 but had held his own. Good lad, good sleep needed tonight!
