That's what it said on the sign as we crossed the border into County Durham, so looking forward to learning more.

A very comfortable journey, but slowed up by lots of road works on the motorways, so we'll go home a different way.

A false start to find our cottage when I sent my husband down a very steep narrow lane and he had to back out again on to the main road! Oops! However, it was the next turning we needed, so eventually arrived safely and we are delighted with our accommodation and lovely hosts. The photo is the view across the valley from the cottage.

There was a welcome tray with tea, coffee, milk etc and a pretty box of the most delicious fudge (home made). What a real treat:-). Our hostess is a potter and it may be possible to have a lesson later in the week. Hope so.

Another bonus is the free wi-fi, so blipping will continue as normal:-) Weather dry, but high winds promised for later, so it could be noisy tonight!
