Sometimes . . .

Sometimes it's just too hot . . . too hot to think, to move, to work, to drink, to talk, to do anything. All you can do is . . . nothing . . .

We've had unrelenting heat for a couple of months with just a few heavy, but abrupt, storms. Something's wrong, this is Canada, not Africa . . . not that we want any rain this weekend, of course . . . Monday's a holiday, so everyone's soaking up the sunshine . . .

But Tuesday's a good day . . . let it rain . . . before we all melt into the sidewalk . . .
