Beach huts and fireworks

A beautiful sunrise right in front of our Stable. Sat outside andenjoyed the sun until lunchtime when we headed into Chestfield. Had fresh crab on Brioche which was very tasty, sitting outside of a very English Country pub with a thatched roof next to the golf course. A pond was full of fish with dragonflies taking a risk laying their eggs round the edges. Butterflies fluttered by.
Drove through Whitstable and was hoping to park and see parts of the Gala and the carnival but WAY too busy so drove down to Seasalter. Had a walk in the boiling heat watching a few boats on the water, people swimming, people turning red and the smell of suncream and BBQ's filling the air. Great views along the coast. We sat in the shade in a little cafe and had Waffles and icecream.
After shopping and tea back at our accommodation we went back to Tankerton, just 5 minutes away, and managed to find a parking space near to the beach huts. We watched an amazing sunset and as the sky darkened the firework display started from a little boat on the water. A great evening finished with a sighting of a fox and sitting outside under a star covered sky.
