Sunny Side Up

We are in the Dordogne at a beautiful Bastide ( fortified town) , Monpazier.
We are in a good position to leave at a reasonable time to go and see our friends M and M, who have a house near here.
We turned down a country track to find a good place to eat our picnic lunch, little quiches from a boulangerie, and found ourselves surrounded by sunflower fields.
What a tough life it must be to live in the south of France and grow sunflowers.
