Last day

I'm shattered and I need a holiday!

Ella came in to my bed early, then I did the children breakfast as Nathaniel had kept mummy up in the night. After the parents got up Mr C and I did a bit of shopping for nice food and drink to take home. Then I made a salad nisoise for lunch and used all our left over veg to make a big pasta splodge for the evening. (Mr C was off looking at the Operation Overlord museum for a few hours).

In the afternoon we went to the pool. Here is Ella jumping in to mummy. Having the use of the hotel pool has really helped her confidence.

Now we have to pack for an early start tomorrow to get the ferries home. They are going from Caen. We drive to Dieppe and on to Herts to stay with friends for a night before continuing home.

Sorry I've not kept up with commenting or even looking at journals, but I've honestly not had a minute.
