Etoile Violette

Home for a couple of days to tend to the garden, get repeat medical prescriptions, sort the mail and catch up on all the jobs that make up the minutiae of everyday life.
Well, the garden is like a jungle!
Purple Sprouting Brocolli has gone to seed and is covered in yellow flowers, they need chopping down fast.
You can see all the yellow in the background of my blip.
Beans are about ten foot tall.
Courgettes are the size of marrows.
Strawberries look nearly dead but think a good watering will revive them.
Opened post to find l'd got a tax rebate! and each of us had a small win on the premium bonds. So am now measuring up to see if we can squeeze an outdoor table tennis table into a corner of the garden.I've always wanted one and this little unexpected windfall could be put to good use .
Lost my repeat prescription, will sort that on Monday.
Going for my hair taming this afternoon, needs a good condition after 30 days sea breeze.
