Lady of Shalott

Half close your eyes, and it's not hard to imagine the Lady of Shallot come floating down the lake.  Tennyson isn't so popular any more - shame really.

It was the closing of the day: 
She loos'd the chain, and down she lay; 
The broad stream bore her far away, 
       The Lady of Shalott.
