At the southern end of North Bay at Scarborough, a well constructed castle hopes to withstand the sea!

The beach was packed higher up and all the traditional English seaside activities were going in full force : donkey rides, kite flying, sand castle building, sitting in chairs behind wind breaks and eating ice cream.
