I'm trying so hard!

After the gym this morning, I walked up to the church for a cuppa, and a chat, of which there was a lot! When I walked in , they were all eating jam donuts, and Sylvia, today's volunteer, asked me  if I wanted one, and I politely refused. How good is that for willpower? Roy, bit into his, and the jam went all down his jumper, so maybe it was just as will I refused. Kevin was telling us that he had spent a few days with his sister, who lives in Launceston, and he went for a day trip to Plymouth. He was very impressed with the place, and they had an open church , a bit like ours, so he went in. I asked him how did they compare to how we do ours. He said he wasn't offered a cuppa, but they wore badges  to say they were   church stewards, so that people would know who was who. We thought that would be a good idea for us, but then he wanted to know if we would want our names as well. We decided that maybe that wasn't such a good idea, and I agreed. I then walked to town, and caught the bus home. I took a photo while i was on the bus, but I wasn't impressed with that, so I decided to blip this. I purchased some new skin cream from Boots yesterday, and this free sample came with it, so there you have it.J says it's all a waste of money but, and it's a big but, it makes me feel good, and it's cheaper than a face lift, but only just!
