To Die For?
To be successful in business these days, it seems, the budding entrepreneur needs a gimmick - or, preferably, two.
McDonalds has its golden Arches and a Clown. KFC has a dead Colonel and vats of oil. Sammy's, our local ice cream parlour, has a shop with turrets like an old castle and - more interestingly - a hearse. It also has a much better slogan than the others - Ice Cream to Die For.
