Pont D'Arc Caves

Opened in 2015, they are a full size reconstruction of some caves in the region containing cave art dating back 36,000 years. Some of the art work is really incredible and has totally changed our views on the level of development/intelligence of people from this period. Most amazing not for it's artistic quality but because it makes these people seem so close are the hand prints in red paint/dye. Most are just palm prints but in some, you can see a finger complete with finger prints. Amazing.

Back home now. Off for a cycling weekend tomorrow. Going back to work is going to be a shock to the system.
