Le Bleymard to Prevencheres 17km ;450m of ascent

Our last day and that felt like a good thing, Aching knees (mine) and hips and feet (Tricia) were looking forward to a day off. The night had not been helped by my sleeping mats developing a bubble so that it resembled a camel rather more than a nice flat surface to sleep on.
The route to the top was gentle enough with one other groups of walkers we met on the way - an English Duke of Edinburgh group of all things. Plenty of shade made thing easy but from the ridge onwards shade was limited and the last long descent to Prevencheres was pretty average filled with discussion as to what we would buy in the shop and drink in the bar. The scenery however remained colourful and grand.
Of course the shop and the bar were shut. Luckily they re-opened before too long and thirsts were quenched. Off then towards the river to cool/wash the feet when our chauffeur, DS#1 arrived to whisk us back home.
The shower, dinner and bed were good news!
