Into each life a little rain must fall

And boy did it this evening!

Spent a glorious day laying by the pool, completely relaxed.

Decided this evening to get the tram into Linz, and it started raining the second I set foot outside. Undeterred, and with brolly up, I set off.

Austria is very different from Italy, I think. In Italy, even on a wet Monday night, shops and gelaterie would still be open, and there'd be people around. Unfortunately, Linz was a bit like Bradford on a wet Monday night - cold, dark, closed and vaguely uncomfortable... Had a nice Thai chicken curry then came straight back to the hotel.

On to Vienna tomorrow :-) x
