Good things come to those who wait

Possible the greatest lesson through J's recovery is the one of patience. The last week or so Jackson has returned to piano playing. It is brilliant for so many reasons, not least as it is an activity that gives him real pleasure. And as a by-product, us too.

A gentle day...dog walk through Chiswick House, food shopping, cooking, a game of Zip-It with Anna and Star Wars IV for us all. And now in the absence of what I would call proper Sunday night TV (clearly we are supposed to be away or out on Bank Holiday Sunday) we are starting Rome...I am hoping to learn something. If I am not too distracted by the blood count.
