What....

.... a fabulous London day!! We left home very (very) early this morning and were in the city for 9. We met J at Paddington station, where she took over with Katie. They went for hot chocolate, they looked for baby swans, they had a gentle wander home. When I arrived back to them from my shoot in the park Katie had been crafting and was in the garden in the sunshine covered in glitter. We all had a lovely lunch together before Katie and I headed into the city for a while. We walked from J's to collect our tickets for tomorrow's prom before we went to the V&A. We had an absolutely brilliant time. It was gorgeous. She loved exploring, I loved the light and photographing her in the museum. We both loved the Theatre & Performance exhibition. Seeing Margot Fonteyn's black swan costume, the Matthew Bourne swan costumes, all the other amazing costumes... the interactive displays, the set designs.... it was all fabulous. She of course had a fabulous time playing in the water fountain in the courtyard. I hadn't been before, it's such a beautiful building.

We walked back home, going through Kensington Gardens again, and had dinner together with J&T. It was such a wonderful evening. The girl enjoyed a bath in the beautiful big bath tub, snuggled in the most sumptuous sheets and J & I got to put the world to rights. It was a really very fabulous time.
