Race Day

We are in Spa Francorchamps for the F1 Grand Prix.

Huge support again for Max Verstappen in car number 33.  During the drivers' track parade (in vintage convertible cars) there was much cheering, flag waving - and orange flares! Verstappen stopped on track near this crowd to get out and throw caps to his supporters,  He is very popular.  It is sad that, after a brilliant qualifying yesterday, his race went badly after a first corner incident which put him near the back of the field.  Hamilton, on the other hand, did a brilliant job to get on the podium after starting last but one on the grid.

An exciting, incident filled race and a little cooler today which made things a little less uncomfortable.
