The last of the summer flowers

I met up with Sue (58Daisies) at RHS Wisley this morning to see the last of the summer flowers before they die off in autumn. After a coffee at the café we wandered around taking photos of the various flowers, some were still in very good condition. It was cloudy which was perfect for taking photos as the clouds act as a great big filter to soften the light. The dahlias were gorgeous, large pink heads - see extras.

Then home - to discover that between the two of them, Adam and Luke, they had not noticed someone ringing the doorbell with a delivery so the courier went away again without delivering it. These boys can be annoying!

A quiet weekend lies ahead...and Poldark returns on Sunday...
