Brambles

Today's the day ............................ to miss the boat

Out for a walk with Maisie today and there were lots of blackberries ripe and ready for the picking in the hedgerow.  I must remember to take something with me next time to put them in - although I'm not sure how long Maisie would be prepared to hang about waiting for me to pick them.

There were also quite a few flowers and even buds as well as the ripe fruit.  Surely there won't be enough time for these to mature before temperatures drop and the season changes?

It's going to end in tears ..........................
