Pretty Prickles

We have three or four of these in the garden after one appearing previously. Judging by the seeds we could have more, so we will have to hope the birds are hungry and eat them.
I like the purple that they provide at this time of year; but have to make sure one doesn't get too close to the sharp prickles when working in the garden.
