First walk with Flash and then collect the horse trailer. Brakes just needed adjustment, a new valve on the one tyre and a new rubber sleeve over the tow bar brake mechanism. So should not break the bank when the invoice flutters in and another good job done by the team at the workshop. Thanks.
Then to the sawmill, a repeat of yesterday including the lack of any damage. On the way home, stopped in the villages newest building estate to photograph the wood house built I think two years ago by the young team mentioned yesterday. The construction process is shown on their webpage. When it was first erected, I thought it was a bit kitschy but now that the wood is getting a mellowing patina, it looks much better. It comes with matching rabbit house and very unusually, wood rain guttering - See extra photo close up.
Angie took off midday to our old village to meet up with Maria who has been Bliped in the past. She is expecting a baby soon. Naturally a visit to our ex horse Silvan was also on the plan as well as inspecting the new house Maria' and her husband have built - beautiful Angie later reported. While in the village, Angie went to see and subsequently took with her, an abandoned, probably 4 week old kitten that someone was hand feeding and was looking for a home. Yesterday Angie had been instructed by her father to find him a kitten. . Now the tiny bundle of fur is with us, has met the two dogs and three of the four cats, all without problems - see extra photos.
This Blip has taken me hours to write - trying to get much done between feeding kitty with an injection of milk, wiping the resulting rear end, feeding at the little cat food bowl, making sure the other stuff from the rear end and the cat litter meet, making sure kitty feels cosy inside the fleece top I now have to wear ...... was not helpful. I don't know if I can go to bed without her - she hasn't ever been alone, her twin sister is also about to move to a new home.
I wonder when/if the day will come that Angie proclaims kitty is now up to speed in her development and can be delivered to father?
