Russian Blue

I haven't shown a picture of Sophie this month yet. She was sitting next to Norma on the sofa, today, looking quite contented with life. She is constantly with one or the other of us and when we have the decency to sit down and be still for a bit, she delights in settling beside (or on) whoever it might be that's available.

She is quite the most people oriented cat friend that either of us can ever remember, although, should "strangers" come to call, it usually means a quick scurry to the bedroom and a period of contemplation beneath the doona. She does "approve" some of the more frequently seen visitors however, who are duly inspected and tolerated.

Under this lighting, her grey fur does take up something of the "blue" which suggests the name of her breed
