Peek-a-boo

Today was supposed to be uncomfortably hot and humid. I just found it pleasantly hot so I took myself off to the river. As I was sitting on a bench soaking up the rays this little head popped into view. I hadn't seen him come into view and there were no other birds around. He stayed around for a few minutes, ducking his head into the water then popping up again. He made me smile.
