Good and bad

I was trying to ignore the fact that we are now in autumn but I have had the heating on this evening 'just to take the chill out of the air'.
Then there is the fact that it gets dark so early.
And the amount of dew on the lawns in the morning.
And the leaves that have started falling.
And the spiders webs that I keep walking through in the garden.
And the smell of stewed fruit as I try to cope with the copious amount of fruit from the garden.
And the joy of closing the curtains and snuggling up on the settee.
And going for walks looking for conkers and acorns for future blips.

The end of one season is just the beginning of another!
