Last day of summer?

People were out and about this morning enjoying what may be the last summer day. By mid afternoon it had clouded over and the thunder started to roll around. At this point I noticed some strange animal behaviour. The ground is quite dry but suddenly there was a stream of slugs crossing the lawn - they usually only do it when the grass is wet. Then the heavens opened and the thunder and lightening started in earnest.
Conventboy2 flew to Turkey this morning for a weeks holiday. I am trying to train myself not to worry so much. The chances of any terrorist  activity are probably no higher than in London or indeed anywhere.
