Does anyone need a hand?

L and I had made a trip out to the West End this morning to meet our niece for coffee and to catch up on her plans for her upcoming holiday to Aus. 

Before walking up Byres Road L and I went into the Botanic Gardens to check out what was in flower in the hot house.  Not many exotic blooms but a first for me was spotting this wonderful crop of bananas.  Just too green for me so I resisted the temptation to pick one.
