Little Green Eyes

I found Shakira playing along the top of the fence and hiding in the creeper. I had to coax her out for a few photos. As you can see it was a lovely sunny day.

It is National Womans Day in South Africa and we honour the sacrifices made by woman in our history.

Mr G and I had a quick breakfast at the Wimpy and then I spent a lazy day at home trying out my camera settings and watching the Olympics. Ironically today Bridgitte Hartley became the first South African woman to win an Olympic medal. She won a bronze in the 500m kayak race.

A real South African supper tonight, boerewors and chips!
