Juvenile Moorhen

A trip down to Inverleith Pond while modules compile on my PC. It feels quite warm in the sunshine.

This juvenile moorhen sees and hears me walking on the boardwalk and swims away. That's the extent of the wildlife action. Others move away from the hoard of school children out to get their lunchtime fix of pizza and chips.

Above the pond, the trees that line the path are starting to turn, see extra. Distinct hues of yellow stand out against the green and blue.
