St Ola's

Another breezy day, it was cloudy most of the morning but it soon cleared in the afternoon and been a lovely sunny day.

It was another lazy start to the day.  After a poor day yesterday,  I managed to get two loads of washing out.  Me and Sammy finally got out walkies, and met blipper Ms Gable on our travels.  Mam popped by too, before we headed to friends Madeline and big Brian for Sunday tea.  A fairly quiet night, more walkies and house chores,  also popped out to see friends.

This afternoon me and mam popped to Whiteness for a run.  We were on the search of the new broch discovered on a peerie holm, but unsure what one.  This is St Ola kirk, built from the ruins of the Strom castle, which can be seen on the isle on the left,  and I'd think the castle was built from the ruins of the broch.  So in theory, we found the broch :)  Taken at St Ola kirk, Olligarth, Whiteness.
