to Try for a Record

Perhaps this is not an everyday sight on public roads, bu here we do things a bit differently....

Here you see yorkshireman Doughie Lampkin  processing around the Isle of Man TT course on one wheel.  His aim was to get around the 37mile course without using two wheels. He was travelling at around 20 mph.

He achieved his aim and thus established a local record.

Whether it is a world record to travel this distance I do not know.  I tried to catch his eye as he went past but without success.....
