Still Off

Squirrel was still off nursery today (48 hours when they have been sick !!!) so coffee with the usual suspects was off for another day too.

She was rummaging through a couple of bags of clothes passed on from somebody and insisted on wearing the hat and a pair of 'Crocs' all day. It was all we could do to keep the 60's style hippy waistcoat off her.

However, she did go to gymnastics in the afternoon, which was where I saw the man drying the wet grass (see 'extra').
I think the real purpose was to disperse the clumps of grass after the ride on mower had been over destroying the grass due to its weight on waterlogged ground.
A complete waste of money (and looks terrible until just before they do it again).
Why can't they just plant wild flowers and help the wildlife instead of destroying its habitat?

Had an excellent and all too short talk from Dark Edinburgh at the camera club tonight.
We also had the junior member turn up who got kicked out of Livingston Camera Club last week as they didn't want anyone under 18 - despite having accepted him as a member a few weeks ago and what it says in their rules and Constitution..... It will be 'No Blacks or Irish' next!
