Nae Dugs

Inversnecky! (Inverness). A chilly start but developed into a glorious day.

Took the dog for a walk, the sign said 'no dogs' but there were dozens enjoying the sunshine and chasing the ducks in the ponds.

The City Fathers should be proud of Whin Park. They have done a grand job - especially if you have young kids, the variety of playground equipment is impressive, and brilliant walks either along the river, through the woods or along the Caledonian Canal.

Our walk ended in the lovely village (well half a dozen houses, a hall and a restaurant) hall of Dochgarroch. I'm sure I could rework that last sentence into something that makes sense but it has been too long a day. Any way....a perfect example of a Victorian hall, it just smells dusty & musty - but today it was filled with cheery walkers enjoying tea, scones and tray bakes.
