I'm sure I must have posted a similar blip to this before but today was interesting with the dark clouds, rainbow, reflections on the smooth lake surface and bright sunshine making a pleasant view. On the bare tree trunk are a couple of cormorants, who feature in closeup as an extra, who inhabit that spot and have been posted before by Nogbad.

Good walk into town and home again in time to set off for Cranbrook Rugby Club for today's match; Cranbrook v Beccahamian in Kent League Division 1 which is of a very good standard. I was watched by an advisor and a crowd of about 100 people. Not the best of games, the teams were not really cohesive enough at the breakdown, not protecting their ball well or clearing out the opposition. Still the right team won and I was pleased to get another Level 9 match under my belt. Every match at this level is a bonus owing to anno domini and clawing back from serious injury three years ago.
